18 weeks pregnant baby still very low in my lower abdomen is that normal?

My baby have been very low face-down in my uterus my whole pregnancy and i feel my baby move every now and then but the movements such as kicks and punches are felt on my right and left side a lil higher then where the baby is is that normal and my baby is a flipper it flips all the time in my stomach feels like a big gas bubble tumbling around lol and sometimes if i lay flat i can see and feel where my baby is because it be a big hard lump in my stomach is this normal? iam 18 weeks and my baby is still in my lower abdomen and where i feel the movements and the flipping. This is my first pregnancy so i have no idea what to expect.
