Can i wear a acu's jacket?

ok i want to buy a pair of acu's in digital camo, pants or a jacket. can i wear either one of these or both and not get in trouble for impersonating a solder or something like that. i don't want to impersonating a solder i just like the uniform and i need a new jacket and i figured i would get an acu jacket also because there f u c k i n awesome. but i don't know if i will get in trouble for wearing the digital camo cause i was told that its exclusive to the military and i cant wear it. i was told solders them selves cant wear any part of their uniforms when in civilian attire but can i wear any acu's or any other piece of uniform. thank you
