How big is a 300. Savage?

The .300 Savage is a clic woods caliber. It is not comparable to say a .300 Win. Mag, .300 Wthby. Mag., .300 Rem. Ultra Mag., etc. Not that .300 is that small of a caliber, it's just that it is not a magnum, therefore doesn't have as good of ballistics. It's kick is comparable to .308 Win. give or take a couple pounds. As for the range, it is a good deer gun say to about 250 yards.
