I have some little red ichy bumps on my body. They are all old but why wont they go away?

About two monthes ago I got some little bumps that itched and then scabbed and now they wont go away and itch when something rubs on them.Two on my foot, two on the other foot, two on my thigh, and two on my arm, They are not in any particular pattern just random. I am kinda a picker when I get scabs so at first i picked at them but now I dont and they still wont go away !! What could it be ?
